In 1980 Yigal Yaretzkey and Avi Shacher identified a need in the market for the supply of high quality, brass, taps and mixers for all domestic applications at a lower price point. Isca established a very unique business model, whose assembly plant enabled Isca to quickly meet market demands, making a name for itself in the plumbing fittings market.
A corner st one of Isca’s business ethos has always been the ability to rapidly adapt its product offering in line with market demands. With an increasing need to bring cuttingedge design, flawless functionality and high impact aesthetics to a lower market segment, Isca’s products and service offering evolved to become more retail oriented.
Today Isca prides itself as a leading assembler of imported componentry for high-quality brass taps and mixers for all domestic applications at lower price points nationally and for the export market.
In November 1991 Isca received the SABS mark for its taps and mixers, and in June 1992 became a certified complier of international quality standards which makes Isca an ISO 9001 registered company. The SABS paved the way for the specification of Isca products into prestigious projects namely including; The Sandton Convention centre, Monte Casino and O.R. Tambo International Airport.
Isca is differentiated in the market by its business model in the industry which it serves. The business has flexibility to react quickly, as it is not restricted to a specific production line and has the capability to design products for optimal cost and quality effectiveness through its competencies around the design, development, plating and assembling processes.
